After the diesel generator is running, when the generator price speed reaches the rated speed, the AC exciter stator excitation circuit switch is closed, and when the potentiometer is adjusted to the maximum value, the generator has no output voltage or the output voltage is very low .
1) The remanence of the generator core is missing or too weak. The new unit is subject to long-distance transportation or the generator is placed for too long, the remanence of the generator core disappears or the remanence induction is weak, causing the generator remanence voltage to disappear or be less than the normal remanence voltage value.
2) Wiring of excitation circuit is wrong. When the generator is overhauled, the polarity of the excitation winding is connected inadvertently, and the magnetic field generated by the current of the excitation winding is opposite to the remanent magnetization direction after the power is turned on.
3) The excitation circuit is blocked. In the generator excitation circuit, the electrical contact is poor or the electrical component terminals are loosened, the lead wire is broken, and the circuit is interrupted, and the generator excitation winding has no excitation current.
4) The circuit on the DC side of the rotating rectifier is interrupted. Because the circuit on the DC side of the rotating rectifier is interrupted, the excitation current provided to the field winding cannot be sent to the field winding after the AC exciter is rectified by the rotating rectifier, causing the AC synchronous generator to fail to generate electricity.
